Lithuania to name for sanctions over Russian plan for nuclear weapons in Belarus

Lithuania will name for brand spanking new sanctions in response to Russia’s plan to position tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, its overseas ministry stated on Sunday.

“Along with its Euro-Atlantic companions, Lithuania will determine how you can react to those militaristic plans of the Russian and Belarusian regimes,” the ministry stated in a press release.

US says no indication Russia has moved nuclear weapons

“As one of many response measures, Lithuania will name for the adoption of recent sanctions,” it added.
