Oxygen plant blast kills 5 in BD
CHITTAGONG: Not less than 5 folks had been killed and dozens had been injured in an explosion at an oxygen plant outdoors Bangladesh’s port metropolis of Chittagong on Saturday, officers stated.
The blast rocked the oxygen unit of the Sheema metal re-rolling mill within the industrial city of Sitakunda at round 4:30 pm (1030 GMT), trapping “many employees” contained in the plant, native police chief Tofael Ahmed stated.
“The hearth brigade has doused the fireplace they usually rescued the folks from the plant,” he added.
